Job duties of the LPN Team Lead include, but are not limited to, leading the nursing staff, rooming patients, taking vitals and patients' chief complaints, and assisting providers as needed.  The duties and responsibilities of this position involves being the team lead for 6 practice sites. Duties and responsibilities include performing rounding tools for compliance and safety, enforcing infection control processes, staying up to date on clinical and nursing protocols, providing clinical inservices and training, performing annual competencies and procedure check-offs of clinical staff, supporting practice policies and procedures, and supporting clinical staff as deemed necessary in the day to day operations of a clinical setting.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required.

Experience: Two years experience in physician office setting required.

Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.AHA BLS-HCP required.

Other: Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication skills. Basic computer skills required to be able to utilize electronic patient records, budget and personnel software.
