The Financial Analyst provide support to all Carilion Business Units and to Financial Advisory Services through the preparation of financial studies, evaluations and analyses. Position will work directly supporting Carilion's forecasting and capital processes. Knowledge of relational databases and project management experience preferred.

1. Communicates financial information and educates key stakeholders in an effective manner.
2. Assists in process improvement projects and modeling.
3. Assists in development of financial presentations.
4. Researches industry trends and uses data to identify financial themes.
5. Measures, analyzes, and reports on productivity.
6. Effectively manages working on multiple projects at management direction.
7. Compiles and reviews data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
8. Serves as a liaison with core support departments and is a team player.
9. Assists in coordination of planning process and business forecasting.
10. Models, implements, and tracks change management initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or 8 years equivalent experience.

Experience: 1-3 years healthcare finance to augment education if needed. Knowledge of relational databases and project management experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification: None Required

Other: Advanced knowledge of Excel, and other personal computer software.
