The Lawson Administrator will provide development, maintenance, and support of IT computer software applications, primarily Infor Lawson S3, Kronos WFC, Hyperion, and SAP Business Objects Enterprise. In addition, they will provide maintenance on software currently in a production environment and update documentation of programming changes made to that software. Candidate must be confident analyzing, implementing, and testing programs and reports requiring complex business and data rules, in cooperation with customers, other developers, and system administrators.

The Lawson Administrator is responsible for performing installation, upgrading, testing, maintenance, and customization of vendor applications and web/integration services on a variety of hardware platforms.  Gathers requirements, performs analysis, develops and maintains new programs and applications.  Serves as a liaison between TSG groups, clients and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school degree required. Associates/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare business or equivalent experience required.  

 

Experience:  3 years working as a technical administrator or developer within a Unix based Lawson Infor 10 environment.  Experience with v11 is a plus.  Knowledge of integrating applications with LDAP databases including IBM TDS and MS Active Directory.  Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server.  Experience with Infor Process Automation and other business automation tools. 

 

Works closely with the Infrastructure team and business users to maintain the Lawson and Lawson related applications such as BSI and MHC.  Works with Infor to maintain business relationship and acts as the Lawson system owner.  Responsible for job monitoring and recovery, hardware optimization and planning, and application patches and upgrades for the Lawson systems. Maximizes up-time, performance, and availability of Lawson.  Upgrades TaxFactory as needed throughout the year.  Responsible for the protection of data for the Lawson system. Manages Lawson security including roles and rights to use certain Lawson functions and helps determine and establish roles for new modules or applications.  Provides high-level end-user support the Lawson system to resolve system issues. Responsible for troubleshooting system related issues and opens support cases with Infor to resolve issues when needed. 

 

Acts as a liaison to the business users to maintain integrity and confidence in the system. Coordinates and/or provides end user training for upgrades, new modules, etc.  Works with developers to create and maintain Infor Process Automation workflows and Lawson Design Studio user interfaces.

 

3 years working in a related IT field supporting integrated systems within a healthcare setting.  Experience administering technical infrastructure components, providing technical support of integrated business operational workflows, and analyzing opportunities for process improvements, and supporting agile development projects as assigned.

 


Candidates should be proficient in one or more programming languages, Java preferred.  Proficiency in SQL, advanced knowledge of the Unix and Windows operating systems, shell scripting and command line programming tools and techniques.

 

 

Other Minimum Qualifications:  Working knowledge of software development life cycle, change management best practices, agile development methodologies, ITIL.  Proficiency with MS Office application suite, MS Project, MS Visio, and MS Sharepoint.
