Respiratory therapy and sleep therapy

Our respiratory and sleep therapists have opportunities to conduct research and work with medical directors to support department protocols that enhance both practice areas.

Respiratory therapists play an important role on our patient care teams, with opportunities in cardiac, emergency, medical/surgical, neuro, intensive care and NICU/PICU settings. Advancement opportunities may also be available for clinical instructor and team leader roles.

Carilion Sleep Centers provide evaluation, testing, diagnosis and treatment for wake and sleep disorders. Our teams use advanced technology to provide high-quality care for both children and adults.
