Adjunctive Therapist- NRV, Days

How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

Provides therapeutic services to patients from young adult through advanced adulthood. Services include provision of initial assessment, individual, family and group therapy. Works as a member of the multidisciplinary team. Duties include, but are not limited to:
 *Assesses patient’s need for non-medical services within the parameters of the treatment plan. Works as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.

*Provides individual, family and group therapy.

*Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients in the individual, family and group setting.

*Coordinates the patient’s treatment with the multidisciplinary treatment team, patient’s family, referral source and aftercare provider. Makes appropriate discharge plans.

*Records patient data in the medical record to include the psychosocial assessment, group, family and individual progress notes and discharge plans/appointments.

*Works cooperatively with other members of the Clinical Programs Department and treatment team, provides coverage and arranges coverage when needed.

*Attends in-service and continuing education activities in order to comply with the system requirements and to maintain up to date licensure/certification specific to the role.

8:30- 5:00 Mon-Fri,  Some weekend hours as needed

What We Require:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or Therapeutic Rec OR Master's degree in Art Therapy

Experience: One year of related experience preferred.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: 

CPI within 6 months of hire

BLS within 6 months of hire

Licensure/Certification specific to education; Required: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist eligible, Registered Art Therapist eligible, Or Board Certified Music Therapist

Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
