How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:
- Manage and coordinate multiple, complex project plans, including implementation schedules and resource estimates, for system level quality initiatives, including but not limited to core measures program and outcomes reporting improvements.
- Provide project leadership and direction.
- Responsible for coordination of system huddle process and integration of performance data to drive daily operational management.
- Responsible for core measure reporting and supporting improvement efforts across the system.
- Responsible for coordinating activities and processes of RCA2 and QI teams relating to safety system reporting system continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist in evaluation and redesign of quality based committees.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert in RCA2 and high reliability
- Serve as operational/clinical PM for significant IT implementations and manage vendor relationships as required through the implementation process.
- Identify, evaluate and conduct cost-benefit analysis to assist with prioritization of QI/PI efforts.
- Work with customers regarding changes to project scope, assessment of possible constraints and identification of innovative approaches to safety and quality.
- Assist appropriate stakeholders in identifying opportunities to improve through appropriate utilization of process and outcomes data
- Provide direction for clients, staff, peers and vendors to resolve problems and difficulties within a given project.
- Facilitates necessary internal and external meetings and prepares necessary status reports to ensure project tasks are being completed in a timely fashion.
- Develops standards and project methodologies for the department.
- Provide leadership to QI focused roles and assists in their education and development.
- Prepare, maintain and submit management reports (progress reports, time recording, and escalations).
- Develop and support entity-wide safety huddle escalation process
What We Require:
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Information Technology, or equivalent 8 years of experience required.
Experience: 3+ years of project management experience in healthcare or business setting optimally using information systems.
Certifications: PMP certification is required within one year of hire. CPHQ certification is required within two years of hire
Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices. Goal orientation and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation and delegation. Process orientation with strong strategic planning skills and creativity. Strong problem solving skills and inherent decision making ability. Strong dedication to deliver quality customer service in a timely manner. Good human relations, diplomacy, and oral/written communications skills in technical and non-technical areas.
