How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

This is a unique position to support specialty psychological and mental health services to spouses, significant others, and family members who are caregivers for individuals diagnosed with dementia. This position will collaborate with the Carilion Clinic Navigation Program in providing specialty psychological services that include:
•    Individual psychotherapy services
•    Group psychotherapy services
•    Support and community education services

Hours: Generally 8-5, some evenings/weekend support or programming hours as necessary

What We Require:

Education: Masters Degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university required.

Experience: Two years - Five years of experience in the mental health profession.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) or RN CNSrequired. LSCW preferred.

Other: Part of interdisciplinary C/L Team. Interfaces with patients on medical floors and ED. Provides assessment, triage counseling. Facilitate admissions or outpatient referrals.
