Conducts analysis of data entry and procedural variances identifying trends and making recommendations for action plans to correct current developments that place patient care or reimbursement at risk.Assists with coordination and delivery of departmental of training and education. Demonstrates leadership, team building and employee development skills. Sustains and educates an understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding principles in order to research, determine and provide medical necessity and authorization information to patients at the time of service.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Education or Equivalent, EPIC ADT Proficiency required or within 6 months for new hire. EPIC Cadence and Billing Proficiencies strongly recommended..

Experience: 3-5 years experience in the registration, insurance and/or medical office environment required. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, leadership skills, team building and employee development skills. Must be well organized, detail oriented, with a strong service excellence perspective.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: N/A
Other Minimum Qualifications: PC knowledge and basic applications required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt to and facilitate schedule and operational changes based on departmental needs.
