Carilion Clinic, located in Roanoke, VA, has an opportunity for a Perfusionist to join our Amsect Pillar Award winning team. As one of six perfusionist, you will receive competitive compensation and equal call sharing. The applicant must have a great attitude, possess good communication skills, and be a strong team player. Responsibilities include set-up and operation of the heart lung machine, cell saver, and related equipment during surgery. We see a wide variety of cases including dissections, valves, TAVRs, HIPECs and more. We are a level one trauma center but do not perform transplants. We are all about work life balance and have a very supportive staff.

What We Require:

·         Must be a graduate of an accredited cardiac perfusion program and must be American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion certified or board eligible.  

·         Board eligible candidates must seek certification as soon as possible as determined by Department Leadership.

·         Experienced perfusionists and new graduates are encouraged to apply. 

·         Abilities to handle the physical demands of the job.
