Responsible for performing installation, upgrading, testing, maintenance, and customization of vendor applications and web/integration services on a variety of hardware platforms. Gathers requirements, performs analysis, develops and maintains new programs and applications. Serves as a liaison between TSG groups, clients and vendors.

Serves as a resource for multiple assigned applications/systems. Develops documentation related to building activities. Responsible for making timely, effective decisions in relation to assigned projects. This position will have contact with both internal and external customers and is expected to work in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school degree required. Associate/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare business or equivalent experience required. Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience.

· Required general knowledge of Networking

· Required general Programming knowledge

· Preferred experience with HL7 Integration

· Preferred experience with Javascript

· Preferred experience with Epic Bridges

· Preferred experience with medical software

· Desired experience with Epic Interconnect and Web Services

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Maintains application vendor certifications as needed. ITIL V3 Certification preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications:

· Requires rotating on-call responsibilities and carrying a pager/cell phone.

· Position requires irregular and weekend work hours, with occasional overnight travel.

· Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and instructions clearly, verbally and in writing using appropriate presentation tools as needed.

· Develops working knowledge of assigned applications and related development and maintenance tools.

· Uses proper grammar and punctuation.

· Practices reflective listening skills.

· Prioritizes projects of minimal to moderate complexity and complete within a given timeframe.

· Monitors and reports progress to team lead.

· Demonstrates courteous, timely, and professional approach in dealing with clients and co-workers.

· Escalates unresolved problems requiring assistance to resolve.

· Follows up with clients on unresolved problems.

· Demonstrates the ability to be a team member by working successfully with internal and external clients.

· Plans and works on joint projects, and coordinates with others to achieve objectives.

· Serves as a member of one or more project teams, taking direction from leadership.

· Does not breach privacy and confidentiality of patients or staff.

· Demonstrates accountability for self-development by completing annual development and required in-service education.
