Job Summary
Senior Administrative Director, Ambulatory Psychiatry
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator assuming operational and P&L responsibility for our growing, Academic, Community Hospital based, Ambulatory Psychiatric Program. We are seeking candidates with Senior level leadership experience and demonstration of established, pertinent, track record of success.
Operating responsibilities are inclusive of the following,
1. Traditional Adult, Child/Adolescent, multi-disciplinary, outpatient Faculty psychiatric practice.
a. Telepsychiatry
b. Substance Use Disorder
c. Population Health/Value Based Purchasing arrangements
2. Education, Research and Training.
a. VTCSOM Residents and students
b. Collaboration with Fralin Research Institute
3. Behavioral Medicine collaborative care model with Primary Care Medical Homes.
4. Community Psychiatry Program
5. Consultation/Liaison
6. Emergency Psychiatry
7. Assessment/Admission/Referral, “CONNECT” call center.
8. Interventional Psychiatry (ECT, TMS, Ketamine)
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education: Master's degree required. MHA or MBA preferred
Experience: 5-7years experience in management, preferably in a hospital based behavioral health care environment, demonstrating increased and/or diversified responsibility for related services.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Licensure and/or certification in a clinical behavioral health field or management related discipline.(i.e.; LCSW, Ph.D) preferred.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Advanced leadership, planning and organizational skills to manage multiple and potentially large, complex departments and to direct the successful completion of initiatives and achievement of fiscal goals. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities to support and promote a respectful, inclusive culture of service excellence. Proven skills in clinical, operational and human resource management, including staffing, planning, performance management, team work and process improvement. Statistical analysis and fiscal management skills.
