Job Summary

Exciting new opportunity in the growing Cardiovascular Operating Room! 
Opportunity to work with a dedicated team on the weekends to manage urgent, emergency and some elective cases.   
No call hours. 
Opportunity to work with state of the art equipment and surgeons who manage regional referrals for surgeries such as TCAR, EVAR, FEVAR, TEVAR, TAMBRE, and participate in research studies.
 In additional to all of this, work with general vascular surgeons doing open repairs (AAA, CEA, bypasses), thrombectomies, trauma and some general surgeries.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School graduate required. Graduate of approved Surgical Technology Program. Eligible to register as a Surgical Technologist with the VA Department of Health Professions required. Provide to the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or its successor one of the two following documents: A current credential as a certified surgical technologist; or Successful completion of a surgical technologist training program during the applicant's service as a member any branch of the armed forces of the United States.

Experience: None required.

Licensure/Certification: AHA-BLS-HCP certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Other: Satisfactory completion of structured orientation program.
