The System Policy & Procedure Senior Director will be responsible for organizing and streamlining policies and procedures across the organization into one central repository using the latest technological advances. Reduce redundancy and incorporate the latest evidence-based practice.  Works closely with key stakeholders, ensures clear and timely communications, assesses educational needs, develops plans and processes that are thoroughly vetted and without negative cause and effect and is influential in leading large-scale change.  The Senior Director will focus on establishing a formal system wide structure that supports policy and procedure review working closely with the compliance and regulatory readiness teams.  Responsible for teaching/mentoring leaders and personnel on policy, procedure, guidelines, and protocol differentiators.  Mitigates risk to the organization with a sound user-friendly technological distribution/access platform and ensuring regulatory and best practice standards are adhered to in our documents of which, transcend to practice.


Must have knowledge/experience in clinical and regulatory principles and theory; skills in applying adult learning principles; keen assessment and evaluation skills; strength in interpreting complex data; knowledge of evidence-based practice; ability to build strong cohesive teams; systems thinker; and well organized and succinct in project management skills. Must possess strong organizational skills, pay close attention to detail, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, time management skills, and customer service skills   Must be able to think critically, be creative and can take initiative to improve processes in an autonomous, fast past setting.  Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.  Must possess skills to influence change within a diverse multidisciplinary team across a large-scale span.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in a clinical/hospital field (such as Respiratory, Nursing, Pharmacy, Therapies, Healthcare Administration, etc.).  BSN required for Nursing applicants.


Experience: Seven years clinical/hospital setting experience required.  Regulatory experience required.

Licensure: Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia (such as Respiratory, Pharmacy, Nursing, OT, etc.). Certification in specialty field a plus.


Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communications skills. Demonstrated knowledge of providing adult education, business practices, with ability to work with minimal supervision, and adapt quickly to change.  Skilled in use of personal computers to aid productivity and enhance output.
